Made of wood-veneer offcuts, design student?Elisa Stroyzk?has created an innovative and sophisticating carpet design which she called as “wooden textile”. She discovered a new perspective to look over the wood material, they can be performed in different three-dimensional shapes.?The geometric pieces are laser-cut or cut by hand then bonded to a textile backing.?
The material ranges between hard and soft, parquet and carpet, blurring relationships between furniture and textiles.?Elisa is currently graduating from??Central Saint Martins?college of art and design in London.?Via.?Photography by?Sebastian Neeb
