Molded Eco Friendly Oak Luna Chair by Andreas Varotsos
Designer Andreas Varotsos has created the Luna chair design for the Greek manufacturer Varangis. Varotsos intended to pay tribute to Arne Jacobsen?s inspired futuristic designs from the 1950s which explores the symbolic, expressive and ornamental properties of flowing, curvilinear line as an evocative force corresponding to melodious sound or lyrical poetry.
Its key innovation lies in a backrest/seat module with a cinched ?waist? that swivels within a rimmed concave steady base resting on four wooden legs.
