Inspired by attire and tailoring detail, the Polish design studio MOWO have created the Bufa chair. The minimalist furniture design is an attempt to find furniture pattern and a search of the new solution to replace the traditional upholstery. With the pull of the string on both sides, the proper pattern makes it possible to transform the two-dimensional felt into a spacial shape. The pleated material creates a spatial ornament curving the shape in the most genuine way.

Tracy Rocky Chair is one of the brilliant creation from French designer Julien Bergignat. Made from wooden material, the chair is comprised of a steel base (taken out of an old tractor) and a pine-wood structure. It?s a great example of cool carpentry recycling that has turned discarded objects into a work of art, promising to redefine your home interior with a new meaning.

The simplicity of this Prairie chair is inspired by a blend between modernism and the tradition of farmer-made chairs across the American Midwest. The designers Von Tundra made it from oak wood and constructed using pegged T halving joints where the rails sit inside notches cut in the legs.

Reusing threw materials sometimes create a new concept of design. Designer Tejo Remy has pick 15 bags of rags and convert them into an unusual seating design called Droog Rag Chair. The chair original and interesting design is also comfortable, thanks to the use of rags and steel strips. Tejo Remy works as an independent product and interior designer in Utrecht, the Netherlands and teaches at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Utrecht.

Made from 100% biodegradable natural fiber, Compos Lobby Chair from Samuli Namaanka proposed itself as an eco friendly seating selection. The green chair doesn?t contain any inorganic materials, not even binding substances, as well as non oil-based based materials.
When the chair has been used for a long time and disposed off, the material can be milled and and used again for the production of a new product. At the end of the life cycle, the seat can also be demolished by composting it for about 80 days.

To achieve this effect, Design Drift used a laser technology that has never been used before.
