It’s an average coffee table with one leg constructed as a cross-section of a rotated cube that embodies the inherent function of all coffee tables. You can put any book or magazines on its corner. The contemporary coffee table is made from FSC certified veneer over recycled MDF with satin polyurethane finish.

Korean designer?Ramei Keum has unveiled his new coffee table design called Gorge which gave a new dimension to home furniture. The powder coated steel table consists of a single element with sides folded in a V shape, perfectly combining form and function in one piece.

“Gorge is a coffee table with a shape of a gorge. Designing it, I strived to put it in a form so that elements composing of a table such as a top board and legs may become one element, not individual elements, “ says?Ramei Keum about the work.

The shape of a gorge folded in a V shape itself plays a structural role of supporting the top board of the table, and plays a role of holding/ keeping magazines or books as well as completing an aesthetic form of the table. Via
