Designer?Philippe Starck has unveiled his new creation of High Backrest Armchair at the Milan furniture fair. Manufactured by the Italian company, Driade, the chair are designed for both indoor and outdoor use.?Intended to cocoon the user and allow them to curl up in a variety of positions, the armchair is an interesting evolution of Starck?s Oscar Bon and Lago chairs that he has previously designed for Driade. It’s an ordinary bookcase with rectangular shapes, but with a small twist. The bookshelf was rotated with 45 degrees angle an stacked in a casual way, thus performing a pyramid-like structure. Fitting, an Italian shelving and bookcases manufacturer have come up with the simple idea and resulted in a sophisticating product. They will be performing at the upcoming 2009 Milan Furniture Fair.

This month, the Japanese designer Nendo will also be participating in Milan furniture fair. Their collection of cabinet designs will be performed: Collar and Hexagon. Both of the creatin are designed exclusively for Netherland manufacturers Quodes. The modular Collar cabinets are made of aluminum and MDF which its handles extend around three edges of each drawer. Another Hexagon shelving unit is made of powder-coated aluminum and steel, finished in black and white.

Minimalist bed design always be the first choice for a contemporary bedroom interio. Recently, the Italian furniture DOC Mobili manufacturer has developed large span of bedroom furnitures. According to the schedule, they will show-off their collections at the 2009 Milan Furniture Fair in April.
